mann. i think he deserves it.

from 15th (??) place to 1st.

amazing.

he really really really deserves it.

and in the practice rounds he actually

beat lewis too. so i guess he's good.

and (haizz) lewis got third. only.

bt at least he managed to.

that david coulthard kept blocking him

and creating such a huge gap btwn him and alonso.

and yeahh nico rosberg. 2nd.

krysh's very happy.

but i honestlyhonestly did not take notice of him

during the first two days i was there lehh.

heh.

and ohmy. massa.

its really really sad.

i was glued to the tv, hoping beyond

all hopes that somehow he wld get bck up.

aft that commotion. but noooo.

yknw, i cheered whenever he got up one place.

its super disapointing.

i dunno if i wld be able to forgive that mechanic.

but if massa did, then good for him.

it was alot of drama in that one night.

F1

today was wayywayywayy more exciting

then yesterday.

the day started out pretty boringly

for me.

i was tired and i din think i would enjoy it

after yesterday's experience.

lunch was good and pretty prompt.

but the weather was REALLY hot, tho'

i must say that the floor wasnt soaking like

yesterday, and i didnt have to bear with

wet, soggy, itchy, stinky feet.

anyway, i was posted to S'pore flyer grandstand.

however, when we were supposed to be there,

we were pretty lost cuz the lecturers were all

over the place and the 8 of us at the flyer

were pretty lost - we didnt know exactly where

to go.

sj, ruihao and rei were posted to the flyer

first aid post.

so we stayed there till 4pm, when the race started

and the other five of us had to go to the flyer grandstand.

it was VERYVERYVERY hot.

sweltering.

so we just looked around while the cars zoomed by-

practice round.

plus points of the flyer is the LOCATION.

we are soo near the cars.

whoo~

and the toilets.. wow, flyer toilets lehh, wht dyou expect?

plus music, and location again.

the excitement only started when the final practice

round started.

there were a couple of crashes!

fisichella? he crashed, and it was the best drama so far

i've seen in the two days.

he bumped over the road divider (twice) something

fell apart from his car, and he hit the sides.

they had to get a crane to move his whole car out.

he crashed his car again, in the qualifying round. >.<

(disclaimer: forgive me if i dun get the facts right,

cuz half the time i cant even remember

which round was which, just the events)

QUALIFYING round.

Q1,lewis got in 8th. so disappointing.

then Q2, he got in 10th! he barely made it!

Q3, he managed to get in first, then Massa beat him.

woahh, there were alot of Massa's fans

at the flyer grandstand.. they were all clapping.

but it was exciting!!

timo glock. i not sure if he's really outstanding
as a racer/driver. but i love his name.
yesterday i told sharifah, sj, and pearlynn
that if i have sons, i wanna name them timo
and toro. cuz their pits were side by side,
separated only by a "singtel" sign in the middle.
ohh its so cool. timo and toro. but im not sure
toro will be as excited as i am knowing that his name
was after torro rosso.












nico rosberg. saw his name onscreen a couple of times,
but didnt really take notice.

im inclined to think anthony bourdain whenever

my friends remembers the teams, but ask me

what car lewis is driving? i wont know. (actually i do)

just that i hope he wins.

hahah.

and since today was SO exciting, i even had the notion

of volunteering to come tmr.

but then i decided not to.

cuz im spending 14hrs of my time there, in the hot sun,

just to watch? i have attachment on monday

somemore. so i decided not.

but im SO WATCHING it tonight.

F1

i went reached school at 0930 and it was

raining very heavily.

went to get my shirt

veryveryugly >.<

and then waited to find my grp members

and get on the bus..

on site, we walked a long long distance before

entering the grounds.. there were security

checks, and those of my friends who were

checked by the policemen with the scanners

looked was so funny,

cuz the scanners were going ti-ti-ti-ti-ti

all over.

then we paired up and got our first aid bags

and walked a very fair distance to the pit grandstand.

it was veryveryvery hot. and the lecturers and evryone

were so confused as to where we were suppose to

be stationed.

there were lotsa delays and very few spectators.

and i asked about lunch.

the lunch coupons only came at 3 plus 4pm.

and whn sj, pearlynn, rei, peiyu and i walked over to

esplanade (veryveryvery far again)

but halfway thru some other people

said that there was no food left.

so we ate at the flyer.

popeye's chicken and biscuits

then when we went back, there wasnt much to do

so we watched the show..

just alot of cars racing past.

so not exciting at all. but it was nice seeing them
coming outta the pits. took photos! of the pits and evrything.
it wasnt very clear, cuz it was from far.

had dinner. food was terrible..

and then went back to watch the practice rounds..

the cars were ALOT faster this time.

and my earplugs didnt really "plug" my ears

so i had to keep readjusting it.

and i fell asleep a couple of time.

(in the afternn it was equally tiring, and i dozed off

a couple of times, but only woke up when

ringo chong - Singapore - crashed his car.

then i was wide awake)

then it was OVERR..

we regrouped, and then we had to walk

ALL THE WAY back to the entrance.

then there was alot of confusion

as to where the shuttle bus was cuz,

we wanted to get to lavender mrt,

but the shuttle bus was out, so we walked to

take the kallang mrt shuttle.

but then i joined my friends to walk to city hall

but then the road was blocked

as i went back to kallang again.

reached home at 140am.

ok..

i'm more in the mood to type about attchment

now that im over the F1 thingy.

today the time passed faster..

we reached there early,

and then we help see that they follow the

SNs to go bathe..

exercises..

then it was brkfst..

and medication..

and after that we had an activity..

whr the had to put their hand in the bag and guess

wht was in it..if correct, they got a sweet!

they enjoyed it.. then we covered it with six boxes

and made them guess wht was under each box

some of them were surprisingly good..

and they got sweets round after round..

we tried to make chances for others too..

and on the whole it was quite good..

even our CI said so.

but i think he's in for a big time la,

cuz the girls can easily kachau him.

and nxt wk,

amira and pearlynn will be coming!

and its only a four-day week!

woots!

ouh and after the activities they went back in

to rest, before coming out for lunch..

then the afternoon girls came in and

we had a debrief..

ohmy morning shift really passes faster than

afternoon shift..

which is so dreadful and long..

i wanna be in the acute ward..
i wanna learn more.
i dont want to see the same cases!
i dont want to travel so far and learn too little!
its unfair!

spectator's medical FA.

no we will NOT be providing first aid to the drivers (sadly)

only to spectators.

man. i was SO excited.

now.. so-so lor..

let me go get hyped up first.

think, lewis hamilton, and err.. err.. what are some of the other
drivers' names? man. that's how much i know abt
F1, except that they travel at super high speeds
and their equipment is like damn expensive (its so ex
it shld be damned -it could feed a whole village in africa
for who knows how long)
yeah and that they could, and may, and have a extremely
high chance of getting hurt. imagine.
and many people in Singapore are rich enuf (or are
just willing to pawn evrything they have for the few
secs to see a real racing car)

yknow yesterday was a lil' scary cuz

i was with my friend, talking to one guy

and another jst stood up, stared at me

shouted and took a step forward.

so, instinctively, i stood up from my chair

and almost started backing away

whn he just walked away.

abit embarassed. but i have to admit that

im scared.

i really am, at certain times.

sometimes it just feels as if im bck to day one

having attchmnts at the nursing home again

just that for this place, the teachers tell

you weird stories to make you paranoid.

and when you're paranoid, how do you

get to interact freely?

i dun recall being half this paranoid at the nursing home.

haha.

whn sj and i were having a brk,

one guy was having this screaming fit outside.

woahh.

but. i must say nearer the end of the shift,

i felt much much much more at ease,

it wasnt that scary anymore.


but.

it was

deja vu.

i told sj that somehow,

i recall the exact layout of the beds of the cubicles.

the exact thing. i think ive seen it before,

but i cant remember where.

i remember it cuz it was very distinct..

i saw three indians, all on one bed, and

i remarked to someone about it.


its just so freaky and frustrating when you dun

remember anything.

ok..

i have to head for attachment soon.

we have to plan activities for them.

i went out to buy/settle my bus concession

problem.. i dunno why but im having alot of headache

about it..

cuz i have to be at buangkok at 7am if im on morning

shift.

that means i have to be out 5 plus am, and

most buses arent already out by then.

see? even the bus drivers sleep more than me..

anyway. looks like its mrt for me these two weeks.

thats not the point, anyway.

i nearly witnessed an accident.

nearly.

this pickup in front of us nearly knocked this

old man down.

today was my first day at...

imh!!

actually i was kinda freaked out cuz

amira and i watched "One Flew Over The

Cuckoo's Nest" starring Jack Nicholson.

and some parts i thought i was kinda freaky.

but

today it was a totally different thing -

i experienced it.

it was sweet of daddy to fetch me there,

and i met shijia early.

then we went to search for the ward, and

found out that it was relocated somewhere else.

so we went to the ward, and had the nurse open

the door for us.

we waited for some time, and then we decided

that i should call my friend.

it turned out that we were supposed to

be at the auditorium!!

so we wanted to leave, but then we realized that

we were locked in!!

panicked a little, but then we called out and

one of the nurse opened the door

for us.

and we ran like mad!

and reached there. 7.58am. still early.

had a loooonng orientation,

but one thing unique is that i feel that

imh is a place where they really treasure

their people and their talent. as in, you can really

expect to be groomed here, if you have talent of course.

haha. and the people here are really nice.

we got this nice CI, and i think it will be NO PROBLEM

if we have any questions!!

we can just fire awayyy..

same goes for the SNs.

hahah.

i am happy. looking forward a little. but im still scared.

very scared.
